- Dotcom IoT LLP is an innovation-led technology company focused on predictive maintenance through Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions.
- S-Node is an in-house flagship product designed for scalable, plug-and-play industrial monitoring.
Business Need
- Industrial machinery often fails without prior warning, leading to expensive downtime, reduced productivity,and safety risks.
- There was a need for a compact, real-time, and intelligent system to monitor machine health, predict failure, and reduce dependency on manual inspections.
- Existing solutions were bulky, power-hungry, and difficult to scale.
Dotcom Contribution
- Developed S-Node, the world’s first ultra-compact, truly plug-and-play sensor node with secure wireless mesh networking.
- Designed modular sensor nodes capable of detecting vibration, thermal variance, acoustic anomalies, RPM, gas emissions, CO₂ levels, IAQ, and more.
- Created a central multi-protocol gateway that receives data from the nodes and pushes it to the cloud via Ethernet/Wi-Fi using MQTT protocol.
- Integrated AI-driven ML analytics for:
- Machine life estimation
- Downtime prediction
- Real-time anomaly alerts
- Enabled rapid deployment with magnetic mounts and tool-free setup in under 5 minutes.
- Developed a REST API dashboard and support for CMMS & ERP integration.
- Implemented OTA firmware updates, low-power SoC, and multi-year battery operation.
- Built support for rotating & non-rotating equipment (motors, pumps, gearboxes, turbines, etc.).
